I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel nestled in the heart of a serene onsen area. The hotel's attention to detail and its value for money were truly impressive. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, even arranging to meet me at the nearby bus stop with their warm hospitality. The rooms, adorned with traditional tatami mats, boasted breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape that left me in awe. And the breakfast offered each morning was a delightful mix of Japanese cuisine, served in a cozy setting that added to the overall experience.
I found everything about this hotel to be exceptional and cannot think of a single thing that could be improved upon.

The public onsens, outdoor ones, dinner and breakfast feast, helpful staff, honeymoon gift, comfortable beds.
Nothing bad to say.

The hotel's convenient location made it easy for us to take the bus up to the pass to get to the cable car, and the bus stop was directly next to the hotel. We were impressed by the hotel's common areas, like the corridors, which had a very traditional Japanese feel with modern touches. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, with a full-service bathroom that was a nice change from other hotels.
The breakfast felt rushed and we would have appreciated a little more time to enjoy the meal.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The location was very convenient with easy transportation options, and it was in close proximity to many of the popular tourist areas. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities, and the onsen area had a great selection of baths to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee, which was served in a separate area from the main dining room.
There was nothing we didn't like.

Convenient Location, Welcoming Staff and Nice Food
Located in a convenient area with a bus stop in front, this hotel offers a great location for exploring the nearby sites. The staff was very welcoming, offering us tea and hot towels upon arrival. The food was also enjoyable, with a decent selection of options available for each meal.
The bed in our room was not comfortable and we did not have a good night's sleep. the language barrier was a significant issue, as many of the staff members could not speak much English, which made it difficult to communicate and obtain assistance when needed.

Absolutely loved the variety of onsens offered, both public and private. the water left my skin feeling silky smooth. Plus, the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, which made my stay so much better. the food was some of the best I've had on my business trip to this town. the hotel also had plenty of private parking nearby. Best aspects: the ryokan's location was perfect to explore the town, and the staff was very patient with my limited Japanese. They even used Google translate to help me out!
Could've done without the piped muzak in the corridors. the room had fake tatami, which was a bit disappointing.
